Backyard Detectives Summer Program 2012
We are excited to offer our Backyard Detectives Summer Program from 9am
to noon from July 10th to August 2nd! This camp is open to children of all
ages, current students and non-students of Blue River, from preschool
through elementary. You can sign your child/children up for a particular day
(every Tuesday, every Wednesday, or every Thursday, so, for example, all
four Tuesdays is one program), or for more than one day. For the four
weeks, for each day-program, the cost is $195. We are offering discounts for
signing up for more than one program or for signing up more than one child in
your family: 5% for two days/programs per family, or 10% for three or more
days/programs per family. We will have brief reading and math lessons to
keep skills sharp, and we will take part in science and nature exploration (i.e.
daily walks on our nature trails). We will also have plenty of water play and
science experiments involving water. So, please pack a change of clothes, a
hat, and a towel, along with a large labeled water bottle (snacks will be
provided), and send your child in with a swimsuit on under clothing. Spanish
drama classes are available; please inquire about availability and cost.
