Sonia Kelly, M.Ed., Lead Teacher, holds a Master's
Degree in Education from Loyola College in Maryland
and an Association Montessori Internationale (AMI)
Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute.
Ms. Kelly has taught all grades from preschool
through third grade and has taught art classes for
children at the Duxbury Art Association. Ms. Kelly
lives in Duxbury with her husband, Geoff, and their
sons, Jack and Will.
Odile Bartley, Assistant Teacher, brings to us her
early childhood teaching experience and her love of the
natural world. She leads children on nature walks and
utilizes her trainings to build on our children's sense of
wonder of nature and the wildlife around them. Ms.
Bartley also specializes in teaching social skills and
conflict resolution to our students. She lives in
Scituate with her husband, Rick, and two children,
Will and Alli.
Denise Listernick, Assistant Teacher, holds a
Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from
Michigan State University and has extensive
experience working with preschool children both as a
nurse and as a teacher at Chandler Integrated
Preschool. Ms. Listernick enjoys sharing her love of
arts and crafts and the performing arts with our
students. Her warmth, compassion, and nurturing
skills are strong assets in our classroom. She lives in
Duxbury with her husband, Glenn, and has two
daughters, Caroline and Christina.
Lisa Driscoll, Spanish Teacher, combines her
knowledge of the Spanish language with her love of
teaching and art to form an arts-based language
program. Focusing on fun first, Senorita Lisa engages
children with her puppets, interactive dolls, songs,
instruments, dances, games, and special projects,
while teaching the fundamentals of Spanish.
